East Devon Art Academy - August Folk Week - Art Exhibition 2011

East Devon Art Academy, Sidmouth, Devon

Our resident artist Vincent Blackwell will be exhibiting his work together with a handful of local artists at the East Devon Art Academy for August Folk Week from 30th July to 5th August.  His work is expected to feature in another exhibition in this gallery from 13th-19th August. 

The Academy is situated in an Area of Natural Outstanding Beauty, two minutes walk from the sea; placed in the heart of Sidmouth, a small town which is often described as the 'Jewel in the Crown' of the East Devon coast.

There are plenty of car parks near The Academy. The nearest long stay car park is on the seafront. Please note that parking is free in most car parks and in the streets after 6pm. In the streets, parking is free all day Sundays.

If you want to avoid parking charges in the daytime, there is free street parking 5 - 10 minutes walk away.
Nearby Mill Street and Riverside Road, to the west of The Academy, have free parking. These roads are around five minutes walk from The Academy.

Glen Road is east of The Academy and also has free parking areas. Nearby Cotmaton Road, Bickwell Valley and Convent Road all have areas of free parking.

If travelling by bus, the nearest bus stop is 'The Triangle' which is 4-5 minutes walk from The Academy.
