Paul Liggins - Summer Exhibition 2011

Our resident artist Paul Liggins has been very busy lately keeping up with commissions and staging his Summer Exhibition.  Make a date in your diary for the exhibition which is being held at The Mulberry Tree, Swanage, Dorset, from the 23rd July until 30th August. 

Paul is hoping to show eight to ten new paintings, which he is currently working on now, and he will be showing his work alongside regulars to the gallery.  Pop in to the gallery for wine and nibbles on Saturday 23rd July.

In the artist’s own words, “My paintings come about by observing the humour of life that most people pass by each day because they are too busy. Taking time out to observe life makes you realise how great life is”.

Paul Liggins' work is fun, colourful and full of detail. In nearly all of his paintings you can spot a Jack Russell terrier, a starfish or two and some pesky seagulls. Paul is definitely an artist to watch out for.
