Qigong and Chinese Calligraphy workshop

South Brent Village Hall

The Village Hall serves the community of the large village of South Brent.

It is on the corner of Station Approach, which runs parallel to the main line from Plymouth to Exeter and Bristol, but does not, sadly,lead to a station. This was closed in the mid sixties when the branch to Kingsbridge was closed.

Our resident artist Lisa Class says "I am delighted that my teacher, Xaio Bai Li, is going to be teaching Calligraphy at the Qigong and Chinese Calligraphy workshop on October 15th at South Brent Village Hall".

Xaio Bai Li is know as one of the country’s leading Chinese Brush Painters.

The day will help unlock your creative expression of Qi through both Qigong and the Calligraphy will be inspiring, fun and informative.

CHINESE CALLIGRAPHY

Using movement, rhythm and meditation, create beautiful calligraphy using Chinese ink.

This workshop is about clearing your mind and producing wonderful Chinese words

with special brushes, ink and rice paper. This workshop is not about learning to write in Chinese.
