Laila Meadows - Big News In Glastonbury!

Flower Border by artist Laila Meadows

West Country Galleries recently welcomed aboard  artist Laila Meadows, who studied privately with renowned artist Trevor Waugh at his Cheltenham Studio, for three years. Her work has been exhibited with rave reviews at The Hawthorns in Glastonbury and during the summer at the “Open Gardens” day in Crewkerne. Laila told us "people know that they have found my address by looking at my garden! I've always loved gardening!".

The Hawthorns is located within 100 yards off the High Street in Glastonbury, within walking distance of Glastonbury Tor, Chalice Wells and two minutes from Glastonbury Abbey. They have a fine selection of local arts and crafts including; paintings, jewellery, figures, cards, photography, unique woodcraft, and furniture.
All the local artist's are permanently on display around the Hawthorns and available to view throughout the year.
They also host periodic sales, where you can meet and chat with the artists and buy some of the original art
work created by local artists, including works by Laila Meadows.
