Our resident artist David W L Stanier is keeping us up to date on his latest creative episode and he is keen for us to relay to you all the latest instalments. David loves to paint and is acquainted with withdrawals if he does not pick up his brush daily.  The picture above, David sent to us, as he wants you all to know that he is currently testing out his new table easel (a big piece of mdf on his existing one), "what a difference!" he says!

David told us that it’s important to have this for his new style of painting and for life painting as he now uses a mahl stick. Rather than wait for the paint to dry for a day and resume painting the next day, David can now rest the mahl stick on the mdf board and rest his hand on the stick with out smudging the painting.  David's customised mahl stick did come in handy for his new serious painting which included a bucket, yes that’s right a bucket! He's quite happy how it turned out even though it was the first layer it looks quite real.

Below is a picture of his latest project...but it's not finished yet; but David couldn’t resist showing you peeps hope you like it.

David's latest creation. Just a taster....it's not ready yet!
