ALL THE PIECES COME TOGETHER AT DURSLEY ARTS WEEK

St James Church, Dursley, Glos
Church members of the community of Dursley have been helping to complete a mosaic, which is made up of thousands of delicate pieces that is coming together to form a beautiful collection of images depicting Dursley.

Rev Janet Bromley, rector of the church, said "we were hoping that it would be complete by the end of June". Rev Bromley went on to say "There has been a lot of interest in the mosaic and we have been really pleased that members of the community have joined in with the work as this is a community project".

There is also a separate children's mosaic, which the children have been working on and the outcome is stunning!

Rev Bromley has expressed her gratitude to the artist Debbie Stirling who has exercised extreme patience in helping people with the mosaic and would would like to give her a big THANK YOU for her time and involvement in this project.
