West Country Galleries paid a visit to Painswick Town Hall which featured the second week end of Stroud Valleys Open Studios Exhibition.  Six artists exhibited their work here including our resident artists Ray Hill and Ahrabella Heabe Lewis.

Ray Hill sold one of his original artworks at the Exhibition entitled `A Line Of Trees`. Ray is primarily concerned with colour, he seeks to find a way, through the medium of painting, to connect with the landscape and revel in the vastness of our natural world. Interest was also expressed towards Ahrabella's  contemporary abstract work with its stricking rich vibrant colours. Her creations are filled with energy that uplift and inspire you. Ahrabella quotes: “Art is when you hear a knocking from your soul — and you answer.” ~Terri Guillemets.
